Hi, I'm Caity.

A Melbourne-based face painter, teacher, and fairly new mum who finds joy in all three.

I started Caity Paints because I genuinely love face painting, and because I kept noticing a gap. There's no shortage of loud, glittery, high-energy entertainment out there, and that's wonderful for plenty of families. But I wanted to offer something a bit different: a calmer presence and a more personal experience.

I've spent years working with young people of all ages and temperaments, which means I'm comfortable with the full range: the chaos and the stillness. Whether I'm happily rolling with a lively group, or sitting quietly with a child who needs a little more time, I love finding the right rhythm for whoever's in front of me.

If a child finds new experiences a little overwhelming, we might start with a little design on my hand first, then theirs. We get there when they're ready, and that's genuinely fine with me.

I'm a mum, too, so I understand what it feels like to be the one doing the booking: hoping it all goes smoothly, hoping your child feels comfortable, hoping you chose well.
